IUJ was at located in paddy field at the edge of the mountians. The nearest town is Urasa, about an hour and a half from Tokyo by shinkansen. When visiting Ingrid in Kobe we also took in the many sights of Kyoto. We also did a bit of travel around Japan and stayed at some lovely onsens.
